Who We Are

Richard Blonstein CPA^®, CFPTM, is the principal and founder of Broad Wealth Management, Inc. He graduated from Hofstra University in 1985 with a BBA in accounting. Rich became certified as a CPA^® licensee in 1988. He completed the CFPTM Professional Education Program offered by the College for Financial Planning in 1994 and thereafter earned his CFPTM license in 1995.

Prior to founding Broad Wealth Management, Inc. in 2001, Rich worked in public accounting, acquiring over 15 years of experience serving the personal financial needs of very affluent individuals. Believing that the needs of wealthy individuals can best be served by a small, boutique, financial advisory firm, he left Deloitte & Touche's Private Client Advisor group and founded Broad Wealth Management, Inc.

Rich brings to the table a special combination of breadth of knowledge, irrefutable trust, and a level of caring about his clients that, when taken as a whole, is difficult if not impossible to find anywhere else.

Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Planning Section, the Financial Planning Association and the New York State Certified Public Accountants Association.

With his wife, they are raising two young daughters in Rye, NY. Rich serves on the Finance Committee of the Rye City School District and the Board of Trustees of Community Synagogue of Rye. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing golf.
